Winter Music Conference (WMC) 2020 Returns to Miami

The event marking its 35 years anniversary will return to Miami Beach, March 16 – 19, 2020

In 2019 Miami saw the rebirth of one of its most iconic brands, Winter Music Conference (WMC). In 2020 the legendary WMC celebrates its 35th anniversary as the longest-running conference of its kind. The annual gathering that helped give birth to an entire industry from its humble beginnings back in 1985 is now stronger than ever with a renewed sense of purpose and direction. Under the umbrella of Miami Music Week (MMW), the Winter Music Conference will return to The Faena Forum on Miami Beach, March 16-19, 2020 with even more updates, panels, demos and insightful programming that will bring together a new generation of industry professionals and music consumers for a week of unforgettable experiences.

As ever, WMC’s programming will continue to offer a diverse line up of topics for aspiring artists, working professionals, and newcomers looking to take their first steps into the electronic music industry.

In 2020 WMC will offer three different badges to allow attendees to dial in their experience with precisely the programming they are looking for.

In addition to Main Stage Panels, Fireside Chats, Education Rooms, and Industry Panels WMC will offer new activations and programming for 2020:

MMW Oasis at Generator Miami

The MMW Oasis will run in conjunction with WMC and serve as a social hub during the conference. Located just steps from the Faena Forum at Generator Miami, Oasis will host cocktail hours, pool parties, networking events, and the new Mentor Sessions series.

Mentor Sessions 

Pro Badge holders will be given access to the new mentor session program with leading professionals from across the industry as well as established artists conducting intimate Q&A sessions in a classroom-style setting. Come learn from some of the best in the business.

Exhibition Hall Stage

The exhibition hall will now feature a dedicated stage with music education sessions, product demos, tutorials, and performances.

WMC Sanctioned Events

For 2020 Plus and Pro level badge holders will be given access to some of the best events during Miami Music Week. Please note that the Access badge holder will not have free or preferred entry to these sanctioned events, just events at MMW Oasis.

Yoga Sessions

Due to popular demand WMC will host additional yoga sessions for pro-level badge holders in the mornings at the MMW Oasis.

Travel Benefits 

WMC will offer badge holders access to discounted hotel rooms around Miami Beach on a first-come, first-served basis. Selected hotels will be listed to badge holders once they have completed their registration and have become available.
