Swedish House Mafia have confirmed four festival shows for 2019.
The trio— Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso— announced on Twitter that they will play Tinderbox in Odense, Sweden (27th – 29th June), Stavernfestivalen in Norway on 11th July, Austria’s Frequency Festival (16th – 19th July), and Creamfields UK (22nd – 25th August). The exact dates of each performance are now revealed on their official website.
This is the latest news to come from the electronic supergroup, who reformed earlier in 2018 at Ultra Miami following a five year hiatus. 2019 will see the outfit perform three times in Stockholm, play Mexico City’s Foro Sol, with rumours abound about a possible appearance in Tel Aviv to boot. Angello also suggested they would be at Tomorrowland ‘by any means necessary’ in a recent interview, while Axwell just told Radio 1 host Annie Macthat the troupe would be releasing new music in the coming months.
