Knife Party, the duo of Pendulum’s Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, have announced details of a new solo EP, titled ‘Lost Souls’.

The EP will feature four tracks and, according to Billboard who confirmed its release, it displays a “softer side” to their sound as well as the “blood-curdling bass drops” that fans might have come to expect from past output.

‘Lost Souls’ is the duo’s first solo release since 2015’s ‘Trigger Warning’, with the only output from the two in the interim period being collaborations with Tom Morello and Pegboard Nerds, and a remix of Pendulum’s ‘Blood Sugar’ which came out last year. The duo have also been keeping busy hosting their podcast, Knifecast.

‘Lost Soul’s is due out on Friday, July 19th via their Earstrom label. You can check a video of Martin Garrix playing one of the EP’s tracks below.
