HARDWELL’S LAST-EVER DJ PERFORMANCE TO BE LIVE STREAMED

The ADE show will be broadcast on social media and digital channels…

Hardwell’s last-ever DJ performance is to be live streamed on multiple digital and social channels from ADE, with the date set for 8PM CET on Thursday 18th October.

The final show is a collaboration with the critically acclaimed Metropole Orkest, ‘Symphony: The Global Revolution of Dance’, and will be broadcast direct from Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. The Dutch EDM superstar stunned fans when he announced his impending retreat from the live circuit, citing the need to rebalance his personal life as a reason for the decision.

“Being Hardwell 24/7 leaves too little energy, love, creativity and attention for my life as a normal person,” Hardwell, AKA Robbert van de Corput, said in a statement. “This is why I have decided to clear my schedule indefinitely to be completely liberated from targets, interviews, deadlines, release dates, etc.

“I want to come back stronger than ever.”

While that suggests this may not be it for good, the hiatus is indefinite for now. Tune in to Hardwell’s social channels to make sure you don’t miss out on what’s set to be a historic evening, with the man in question also likely to feature in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll based on previous years, the results of which will be revealed at our annual ceremony during ADE, on Saturday 20th October.
