ELON MUSK REBRANDS AS E ‘D’ M, SHARES SINGLE ‘DON’T DOUBT UR VIBE’

Not content with just being the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk has decided to take a crack at entering the dance music industry.

Rebranding himself as E “D” M, the engineer and entrepreneur, who is 48 years old, shared a track on his Soundcloud (Emo G Records) this week called ‘Don’t Doubt Ur Vibe’.

Sharing on Twitter that he “wrote the lyrics & performed the vocals!!”, the track is a fairly bouncy progressive house number.  Whether or not this could lead to future appearances at Tomorrowland or Ultra Miami remains to be seen.

Of course, it’s not the first time Musk has dabbled in the music business. In April 2018, Musk, who has an estimated net worth of $31.7 billion, released a meme-rap track called ‘RIP Harambe’.

Musk isn’t the only multi-millionaire CEO with a dance music side-hustle. Goldman Sachs CEO David M. Solomon DJs under the DJ D-Sol alias and, last autumn, shared an edit Kool & The Gang’s ‘Down On It’ in collaboration with Dzeko.

Last October, Steve Aoki said he’d like to make music with Elon Musk. Maybe his chance could come sooner than anticipated?
